Trasferta nell’isola sarda per la seconda e terza tappa degli Assoluti d’Italia e ad ospitare la carovana dell’enduro questa volta è la cittadina di Iglesias a circa un’ora di strada dalla capitale Cagliari. Il TM Racing Factory Team si presenta con una assenza, Dawid Ciucci, ancora infortunato dopo la doppia trasferta iberica ma con i due alfieri, Eero Remes e Aigar Leok, pronti a difendere i colori della Casa pesarese nella classe Stranieri. Il pilota finlandese è partito subito con il piede giusto e nella giornata inaugurale ha conquistato un ottimo terzo posto di classe mentre nella giornata seguente le condizioni precari delle tre Prove Speciali, rese al limite della impraticabilità da un violento acquazzone, hanno pregiudicato il risultato finale di Eero Remes.

Le due giornate di Aigar Leok sono stata abbastanza positive per il risultato ottenuto e ottime per i tempi registrati in gara. Nel primo giorno il pilota lettone ha strappato dei buoni tempi nell’Extreme Test mentre nella giornata seguente nell’Enduro Test e nel Cross Test.

La gara sarda è stata alquanto impegnativa e dura in particolar modo le Prove Speciali Enduro Test ed Extreme Test rese insidiose dai numerosi sassi smossi e scivolosi e dalle radici presenti lungo tutto il percorso di gara. Speciali lunghe e tortuose quindi in poche parole una vera prova di Enduro. Ora il prossimo appuntamento è targato mondiale, in Grecia e più precisamente a Kastoria il 10 e 11 Maggio.

Eero Remes

“La gara di Ilgesias è stata alquanto impegnativa ma nella giornata di sabato ho portato sotto il tendone bianco-azzurro un buon terzo posto nonostante qualche piccolo errore commesso in alcune Prove Speciali. In definitiva una buona prima giornata. Il giorno seguente invece non è stata una buona gara e non me ne capacito. Troppi errori, non sono riuscito a prendere il ritmo del giorno precedente. Sono comunque contento, tutto sommato una trasferta positiva”.

The Aigar Leok’s two days  have been quite positive for the result and for the good times recorded in the race. On the first day the Latvian rider has torn some good times  in extreme test while on the day following in the Enduro Test and Cross Test

The Sardinian race was very tough and challenging in particular the Special Test, Extreme  Test and Enduro Test made ​​ treacherous by the many dislodged and slippery stones and  by the roots  present all along the race . Eero Remes

“The race of Iglesias was somewhat challenging but on Saturday I brought under the  white – blue big top a good third place despite some little  mistake  in some Special Test . Ultimately a good first day of race. The following day, on the other hand was not a good race and I do not understand why. . Too many errors , I could not take the rhythm of the previous day . I’m happy , all in all a good away . “

” The trip to Sardinia for me was not negative but not positive at all. I’m happy for the fact that I was strong in some Specials being able to find the right rhythm while in others I made a few mistakes too . Now we need to concentrate well for the next  World  round. “
