Il nono Gp della stagione si è corso sulla pista Francese di Saint Jean D’Angely, il tracciato è stato rivisto nella parte bassa per renderlo ancora più spettacolare.
La manche di qualificazione ha visto in Davide Guarneri un protagonista, il pilota bresciano è partito subito molto forte riuscendo ad inserirsi nelle posizioni alte della classifica, Davide ha chiuso in nona posizione, Tanel Leok dopo aver fatto segnare ottimi tempi nelle prove non è riuscito a partire bene e non è riuscito a fare meglio del 17° posto.

Al via della prima manche un sasso ha rotto la leva del freno di Leok e ne ha condizionato la gara, Tanel non ha dovuto accontentarsi della 18° posizione, Davide Guarneri non ha avuto un’ottima partenza, Guarneri dimostrando un grande carattere è riuscito a scalare la classifica e grazie ad una grande rimonta ha concluso in 10° piazza.

Gara 2 è stata un’altra volta amara per Tanel Leok, caduto in seguito ad un contatto con un avversario è ripartito nelle ultime posizioni, Tanel a testa bassa ha recuperato molto posizioni concludendo in 14°. Davide Guarneri per la seconda volta non è riuscito a partire bene transitando al primo giro a metà gruppo, Davide anche in questa seconda manche ha dato spettacolo riuscendo a recuperare fino al nono posto.

Una grande prestazione per Davide Guarneri che conquista il decimo posto nella classifica generale. Nella 125 Lorenzo Ravera ha effettuato una grandissima seconda manche giungendo 10° se nella prima heat non avesse commesso qualche errore di troppo avrebbe sicuramente fatto un bel risultato, Morgan Lesiardo non è riuscito a qualificarsi per le due manche.

Prossimo appuntamento il 14-15 Giugno a Maggiora per il gran premio di casa per il Team Ricci Racing.

Davide Guarneri commenta così la gara:”Fine settimana abbastanza positivo, la schiena va meglio e sono riuscito ad allenarmi bene, abbiamo lavorato bene sulla moto, sempre nella top ten in tutte le manche, dobbiamo lavorare sulle partenze per migliorarci.”

Tanel Leok commenta così la gara:”Non sono per niente contento di questa gara, la sfortuna mi ha perseguitato, mi sentivo bene ed avevo una buona velocità, potevo fare un bel risultato nelle due manche sono riuscito anche a partire molto bene, peccato ci riproverò nella prossima gara.”
