Il Gp della Gran Bretania si è corso sulla spettacolare pista di Matterly Basin, nella prima giornata di prove il maltempo ha reso la pista molto pesante e rendendolo ancora più difficile da affrontare per i piloti del Team Ricci Racing.
Ancora assente Christopher Valente ma il suo rientro alle corse è vicino, Davide Guarneri non ha ancora risolto del tutto il problema alla schiena che gli impedisce di correre con tranquillità

La qualifica ha visto Tanel Leok tra i protagonisti, il pilota estone si è trovato a suo agio ed ha trovato un ottimo feeling tra la sua Tm e la pista chiudendo in sesta posizione, per Davide Guarneri la manche non è andata nei migliori dei modi ed non ha fatto meglio del 14° posto.
La prima manche ha visto in Tanel Leok un grande protagonista, dopo una brutta partenza il pilota di Ilario Ricci ha messo in scena una rimonta incredibile che lo ha visto concludere in decima posizione. Davide Guarneri dopo una buona partenza è stato urtato da un avversario che gli ha fatto perdere molte posizioni ma è riuscito a scalare la classifica fino alla 14° piazza.

Sfortuna in gara due per Tanel Leok che nel corso del primo giro a causa di un contatto con un avversario che gli è caduto davanti ha riportato la rottura delle viti che reggono la pedana a causa di questo problema è stato costretto al ritiro, Guarneri dopo una brutta partenza ha rimontato fino alla dodicesima.

Ilario Ricci commenta così la gara:”Posso dire che questo GP è andato meglio degli ultimi. Tanel ha fatto un’ottima prima manche mentre Davide ha chiuso 14esimo. In gara due sono partiti male entrambi e Tanel ha avuto anche un problema con la pedana e si è dovuto ritirare. Davide ha rimontato bene dopo una brutta partenza. Alla fine ha fatto dodicesimo. Devo dire che Davide sta risolvendo i problemi alla schiena che lo stanno condizionando molto e non riesce ad allenarsi come vuole. Ora sta cercando di riprendere la forma fisica e pensiamo che dal prossimo GP di Francia ma soprattutto per il GP di Maggiora sarà a posto.”
