LET’S GO TO THE FINALS!!!

The second and final round of the North-Eastern Area of the Italian Junior MX Championship took place at the Castellarano (RE) circuit in Emilia-Romagna. A sunny weekend accompanied the riders on a track excellently prepared by the local motoclub.

Our own Davide Paglialunga, on the TM 125 MX, started the weekend with the timed practice sessions that determined the grid positions. At the end of the session he was 13th, which gave him access to the Group A races on Sunday.

In the first race Davide started in the middle of the group and stayed there until the end, fighting to move up a few positions. He finished in 17th position.

The second race was a repeat of the first, Davide had to fight for a long time and took the chequered flag in 19th place.

With these results he finished the day in 19th place overall and in 21st place in the championship.

Thanks to these results, Davide has qualified for the National Finals, which will take place on 7th and 8th September in Fermo on the historic Monterosato circuit.

MATTIA SERAFINI (Team Manager): We are very happy with Davide’s results, we have seen him very focused and in these two rounds he has always been ‘on the ball’. For him, who is a year younger than many of the riders in the 125cc class, reaching the final is a very important result. We know he can and must improve and he has age on his side! We are convinced that the upcoming events will allow him to work in this direction and also to improve his feeling with the bike. The aim of this project is to train young athletes and Davide Paglialunga is an authentic expression of what we want to achieve. We will see you in Fermo for the first final, but in the meantime we will continue to develop the bike by taking part in some stages of the Marche FMI Regional Championship.
