TM YOUTH MX – JUNIOR REGIONAL TROPHY – CINGOLI (MC)

The Tittoni di Cingoli (MC) hosted the 2024 edition of the Trofeo delle Regioni ‘Marinoni’ Junior. Two of our riders took part in the race, Gennaro Utech representing Sicily and Davide Paglialunga supporting the Marche.

The protagonist of the 125cc races was undoubtedly our own Gennaro, who won both fractions with two fine comebacks after some not-so-lucky starts. He proved to be the fastest rider on the track, although once again it was the starts from the gate that penalised him the most. A detail that he will have to work on a lot, as his pace would certainly be decisive for his results.
Gennaro made a strong contribution to his region’s fourth place in the overall standings, which was almost a podium finish.

Davide tried to do his best, although a crash in the first race upset his plans and he finished 24th. In the second race he was even worse, finishing 31st. He still needs to gain experience to put everything right for next season. His Marches finished 11th in the regional classification.

It remains a good experience in an event that brings together the best talent from all the regions of Italy.

MATTIA SERAFINI (Team Manager): It was a good experience. The Regioni is a very special race, different from the usual format, and to have two of our boys competing for their regions was a source of pride for us. Gennaro had two very good heats, winning them both with a pace that was unbearable for everyone. We miss the specific work that should have been done during the winter, but we are still happy, we just need to work a little on the starts. Davide has taken on another challenge that is new for him, and gaining experience in this type of race will help him to grow. Working with him requires more patience, but we are sure it will pay off in the long run. Thanks as always to all our supporters.
