ITALIAN SM CHAMPIONSHIP 2024 – ROUND 4 CASTELLETTO DI BRANDUZZO

Internazionali d’Italia Supermoto Castelletto di Branduzzo.
No break for the L30 Racing TM Moto Team, after the race in Germany the team moved directly to Castelletto di Branduzzo for the fourth round of the Internazionali d’Italia which took place with prohibitive temperatures above 40°. Matteo Andreotti, a young rider of the team, was called up by the National Coach Massimo Beltrami to represent Italy at the next Nations Trophy in the Junior team in Carole, France.
SM1 Pro
Marc Schmidt makes no mistakes in qualifying and gets the pole position demonstrating all his speed and determination. Mitja Krasniqi closes his tests in seventh position.
At the start of race 1, Marc was a lightning bolt when the lights went out, taking command of operations. The German rider, with an incredible pace, took off from his opponents, unfortunately bad luck did not spare Schmidt who, during the penultimate lap, punctured his rear tire. Marc, however, continued until the end to try to get as many points as possible and finished in 22nd position. Good performance for Mitja Krasniqi who managed to get seventh place.
In race 2, Schmidt distanced his opponents from the first corners and with a great performance he crossed the finish line with a great advantage. Mitja Krasniqi, thanks to another consistent heat, finished again in seventh place.
Marc Schmidt finished the race in Castelletto di Branduzzo in third place in the day’s standings. Mitja Krasniqi is seventh overall.
SM3
Matteo Andreotti, current red plate of the SM3 standings, in qualifying set the second best time.
Matteo at the start of the first race gets off to a great start from the second spot on the grid and takes the lead already at the first corner, Andreotti in the first part of the race had to resist the attacks of the driver behind him but managed to keep an excellent pace that allowed him to win with an advantage.
In race 2 Andreotti was once again impeccable at the start taking the lead once again, Matteo with an excellent performance took off in the first laps and was able to manage his strength in the final part of the race.

SM4
In the asphalt only race Emanuele Esposito took to the track, unfortunately the Team L30 Racing TM Moto rider was the victim of a fall during the first heat, suffering a strong blow to his right shoulder, Emanuele still finished the race, even managing to make up a few positions and finishing 15th but decided not to take to the track for race 2.
Ivan Lazzarini: “The bad luck in this period does not want to give us a break, Marc was doing everything perfectly, unfortunately the puncture in race 1 affected the result but once again he proved to be the fastest rider on the track, Krasniqi is also improving a lot and achieved a good result. I am very satisfied with what Matteo is doing in SM3 and I am proud of his call-up to the national team, he is one of the young people we should focus on for the future of the discipline. Now we will take a few days of rest and then prepare for the next World Championship race in Germany in mid-August.”
