Enduro World Championship

September 2, 2012

Heinola –After the long summer break the Enduro World Championship face a double transfer. The strong Estonian pilot Aigar Loek didn’t stop during the break, taking part in the European championship, that saw him a winner of the absolute class.

Aigar took advantage of the last two trials to test some solutions on his motor and adapt himself to the terrain, very similar to what he would find at the World Championship in the two trials in Sweden and Finland.

In the Swedish trial Aigar battled to the last special and achieved two second places re-conquering the third position in the championship. The young Finish Antti Hellsten was in difficulty and couldn’t find the right concentration and finished twelfth twice.

In the Finish race Aigar Loek felt the sensation was good straight away from the first special. An error too many in the final phase of the race forced him to the third position of the day. The strong Estonian, though is sure to be able to upturn the result in the following day’s trial, and that is what happened , because special after special Aigar built up a great success, gifting the TM RACING and its Team with an important victory, which arrived after five long years of abstinence.

Another bad day for Antti Hellsten, who collects only a final fourteenth place , twice eleventh for Nicolò Mori lined up in the class dedicated to the Juniors

The next race, the last in this winning Championship, is in Brignoles, France
